What a confusing band lol

Vaxis I was fairly predictable so I figured that would be the band's sound going forward. Glad to hear they are still really ambitious. I can't believe I gotta wait another month lol

I really enjoy when this band gets epic like Welcome Home and Mother Superior, but when they start doing their "woah ohs" over power chords I can't get into it. Claudio has a great voice nonetheless and I fully enjoy much of their discog

Think I actually love this new album y'know... Just wished the opener hit harder. But it's consistently fun from start to finish. And that closer is unlike anything they've ever wrote before, it's so cool!

That "Vaxis, Vaxis, Vaxis" part where it goes from dialog to singing is cool as shit.

My Mrs drew comparisons to The Killers and Kanye West on a couple of tracks which made me lol

The more I listen to Vaxis II, the more this one seems boring and safe in comparison. Vaxis II has much higher highs, but also a couple lower lows.

Think they did what they needed to do here - do something safe and familiar to reintroduce the Keywork. I hope that Vaxis II is the stepping stone for them to continue experimenting.

It was the most satisfying first listen I've had of one of their albums since GA:1. Not to say it's the best since then, and it probably has a lot to do with realistic expectations, but I think they executed their vision for the record really well, and it opens and closes exceptionally strong with a lot of well executed curveballs.

🤔🤔🤔 I don’t believe it. I doubt they could make a great album and it would have to be so great that it washes out the horrible singles already out that are…also on the album… I don’t believe it.
