Isn't Soreption the band that had to drop off a Suffocation tour? Need to hear some of their stuff.
This album has held up pretty well. Ex Nihilo is such a sick instrumental.

Yeah I love this album, only gets better with repeated listens like all Revo does.
And yeah I think so. Soreption is pretty solid honestly. I haven't heard their new album yet, but their first two are good. If you like Decapitated's style of tech death, you should like them.

this grew with time. Songs I didn't like before from this ended up becoming some of my favorites like Vanitas and Fathomless Catacombs

Don't tell me what to do
Soreption first two albums are a solid 3.5. The new one I hear isn't nearly as good. So Soreption is a good occasional listen or if you happen to be seeing them soon then check them out.

And yeah I've heard mixed things about the newest one. I haven't checked it yet, probably will eventually but even if it's good I'm not expecting anything spectacular. Another 3.5 at best, but probably not even that from the sound of it.

I wish they would come back, but I'm doubting it. Only have feeding the abscess on Vinyl. Now I'm more interested in hearing the latest Voivod. I only really jammed the old stuff a bunch.
