Struggling to get into this as much as Frengers, but we shall overcome

The last two tracks are infinitely better than everything else on here and the majority of Frengers

Not sure where the fk Johnny got that ode, but the best tracks on here are undoubtedly special and why are you so grave. Awesome songs

Cone, it seems wrong to be an asshole in a Mew thread.

As opposed to being an asshole in another thread? I guess; sorry Johnny. Still not seeing how the last 2 songs are not Whiney if special is.

enjoyed this less than frengers and +-, it was just way too long to hold my attention in one sitting. mew is still a band i dont get the hype about, i definitely like all their albums but as much as i try to enjoy them more i havent rated any over a 3.5

Currently going back through Mew's discography. Forgot how great they were. This is probably my least favorite of theirs, but that's not a bad statement at all. All of their albums are killer.

Holy shit. Spinning this album all in one go is fucking incredible. Wish the new record was as good as this.

I think I have personal stronger highlights on the other albums but this is still a great album (like at least a 4.2). The last moments of Louise Louisa are heartbreaking

Anyone listened to the (kind of)recent vinyl-pressing of this? I've heard that the mastering is a bit poor, but I've also heard that some people enjoy the way it sounds on wax. It's a great album, deserves a nice pressing.

My GOD, the transitions in this album.

The first 7 tracks on here are probably the best thing they've ever done. Maybe Frengers is more consistent overall.

Yeah the last two songs here drag it down to 4.
