Agree with everyone who says this is dull. Couldn't even finish it.

Vheissu and Beggars are their two best, followed by The Alchemy Index.

Beggars nails their brand of mainstream rock really well in the louder songs, and the ballads like Circles and the t/t are among their best songs with some of Kensrue’s best lyrics.

Beggars has Dustin's best lyrics and best vocal performance without a doubt

(tbh, that sentence equally applies to the album and to the song)

ehh, the production on Beggars rubs me the wrong way. Though I will admit Circles is a really good song.

Beggars is not good lol. Back when it came out pre sure there were a lot of people that thought it was a weak point in their career. The choruses are generally weak, and the production is baffling

Every album from Vheissu onwards has had people calling it their weak point of their career. Just a matter of personal taste.

Beggars is amazing on it's own and god tier when compared to Palms

When I listened to Only Us when it was first released it had me excited because I thought they were gonna delve further into that synth experimentation on the album and maybe bring back some vibes of AI Vol. II

But nope.

That’s what I thought too but I thought there were at least couple songs that gave me alchemy index air or water vibes on this

Nothing on this sounds like worship team music like some of the songs on the last one did at least.

This is going take some time to digest for sure, but I'd say it is already better than the last effort. This has some moments of true brilliance.
