Even though they've pretty much abandoned the sound that made them so likeable on previous albums, the new, more groove orientated approach is still pretty cool.

Seems that maybe half the riffs sound uninspired but the other half are more than decent. The addition of a bass player is also quite pleasing. Overall, it is nothing like their first few releases but it is still enjoyable. The production is better in comparison to Book Burner as well.

This album abandons basically everything that made PxDx so amazing to begin with but I feel like that kind of allows it to be its own thing, whereas Book Burner just felt like an uninspired retread of their earlier albums.

I should probably jam it again. Just wasn't what I wanted. The new songs were good live, though.

Songs here either absolutely slap or do absolutely nothing for me but the former I play so much I don't care.

Just checked their sludgedoom ep Natasha...they def should explore that facet...and mix it with their grind.

Prod sounds great it's heavy and meaty idk what everyone is on about. Drums sound like that modern Mayhem sound.

This is solid but I think the kick drum is my biggest issue with the drum production. Other than that it’s fine.
