IIRC, the woodcut artwork on the digital versions/band's Bandcamp page was something that Bryan Funck had envisioned the band's visual aesthetic to be. I don't know where he got it from but it's quite possible he pulled them out from "public domain" for lack of a better term.
Also, while it looks awesome, I do think it probably wouldn't look as nice on a CD or a vinyl gatefold, to be honest. For example, the vinyl cover for The House Primordial actually matches the EP's harsh noise direction despite it not following the woodcut aesthetic.

It appears "Thou" is an archaic way of spelling "You" (mind to correct if its not about this)...but if "Thou" was some kind of object my head would be a fuckin Thou rn X).
Reaching the end of a full LP tour (chronologically and through today) and in my opinion this one, Heathen and Tyrant are potential 5's. They are consistent as hell in all their work though. Thrilled with these guys and I'm glad I insisted on them. Now I know what's behind a mask.

I dig the woodcut a lot, but don't really care either way, tbh. Some I like like more than others. I love the original artwork for Tyrant- or whatever the artwork is on the Southern Lord re-master is:

"The colours fit the vibe of the album, or at least their sound; haven't heard the album yet" I have and they do m/ and there's more colour on they recent sound I'd say.

Been jamming this and Tyrant non stop all week. Can't wait to hear their other albums. I dig all their artwork, from the cohesion of the woodcuts to the unique mood of the alternate covers. It'd be cool if all their albums had slip covers of the woodcuts and then the actual artwork underneath.

"Should i jam House Primordial Inconsolable Rhea Sylvia before this"
I think it's a good idea if you did. Personally, I find that all 3 EPs (style wise) seep into Magus in some shape or form...though I consider Magus to be more in line with "typical" Thou than the 3 EPs would make you think...if that makes any sense.

"Should i jam House Primordial Inconsolable Rhea Sylvia before this" I did like that and it was cool but the 3 are all quite different from this one and from each other.

You can jam the LP first if you want, but listening in sequence was a great experience for me personally.

The 3 EPs are a good way to enter the world of Thou, although they can mislead you a bit. I really enjoyed Rhea because it's so rich and it flows so well. Magus is an incredible sludge album, but I found myself hitting a wall with it on first listen.

The EPs are sweet, last one in particular. This is a different animal though.

The EP's are really nice to see how versatile they can be for a thick and deep sludge band. This should grow a bit more on you Hawks X) m/

Yeah we shall see. Like I said it’s not on Heathen or Tyrant level for me yet but it could be.
