"I think im the only person ever who thinks Brought to the Water is the best song off New Bermuda."
I think that's honestly one of the bands best songs period.

Top 5 songs, imo: “Glint,” ( = ) “The Pecan Tree,” “Worthless Animal,” “Sunbather,” “Dream House”. And “You Without End” is an honorable mention.
New Bermuda would probably be way after that. Might even have some Roads to Judah even before it. New Bermuda wasn’t even that good. People on here talking about things being forced; New Bermuda was forced. Sunbather and OCHL were the band being themselves with no apologies. New Bermuda was a muscle flex to the black metal community. I put way more respect into this and Sunbather than I do any song on that album.

Brought To The Water and Gifts of the Earth are two of the best songs the band has ever written. Everything else ranges from decently good to truly abysmal.
Digging: Charli XCX - Brat |

Seeing these dudes live pissed me off. The vocalist kept posing for an army of oversized camera holders right at the front of the mosh. Fuck your content capturing motherfuckers.. I didnt pay to be harassed by their fkn hipster army

TBH Sunbather is my least favorite of their last three. New Bermuda tops this but not by much.

"This is much better songwriting and more mature in my opinion."
I have to agree. I would cut Near from the tracklist though, as it seems nothing more than filler to me. They definitely paid the price black metal-wise but I was never this satisfied with them. Most of their songs lose me somewhere to the point where I could never truly get into this band.

roads to judah probably had the most interesting songs and best songwriting, never felt terribly satisfied with the songwriting after that
