Had to bump this down, it grew off me (not that it ever grew on a ton either). Its so "poor me", i cant appreciate it like i used to.

I don’t think it’s more “poor me” than Captain We’re Sinking or The Smith Street Band etc. At least he’s self aware and singing about how “he needs to learn to love himself” instead of just bitching through the whole album



Idk, there’s a lot of pessimism and darkness here but I also see signs in the lyrics that he’s working towards bettering himself. Plus the guitars are often upbeat and awesome :]
