Regardless of how you felt about the EP much, you gotta admit that the packaging of the 7" is quite awesome and worth the purchase if you dig it enough to own it physically. I don't know of many gatefold 7" if any.

Meloncholia would definitely be one of the stronger tracks on the album but the rest is pretty by the numbers.

A Single Tear, Arkhipov Calm, and I Can Tell You About Pain are the best songs from the new stuff IMO.

Pain could be my favorite Converge song. Is there anything more cathartic than hearing Bannon scream “YOU DON’T. KNOW WHAT. MY PAIN FEELS LIKE.” Probably not.

When it comes to TDIU I think Eye of the Quarrel, Arkhipov Calm, I Can Tell You About Pain, The Dusk In Us, and Broken By Light are all great-tier Converge songs. Their impact is just somewhat diluted by some tracks that feel a bit uninspired by comparison
