I like it a lot, it's not even necessarily my least favorite cut here. It flows really well into the more reflective tone of the last two tracks, signals a shift in the proceedings and provides a needed break from the intensity of everything up to that point.

I forgot this was coming out - I love when that happens. This is genuinely fantastic. Lived up to the album art

This is amazing, I haven't felt this way about a project since I discovered Modest Mouse's first album.

just heard the announcement of a new branch of the American military - the Space Force - and immediately thought of that line 'refresh my memory again, I can't remember anymore - the plan's we're either going to Mars or war?'

If I like this, what albums by his previous band should I check out? Because this is FUCKING MY SHIT UUUUP

It's not really his "previous" band, The Drones are still together.

As for which albums to check out by them, if you like the wild side of this, the band's earlier albums might be more in line with your tastes. Here Come the Lies is a crazy fun, so is Miller's Daughter.

If you like the weird experimental electronics here, then you wanna listen to Feelin' Kinda Free.

My personal favourites are I See Seaweed and Havilah though, which blend some more """"high-minded"""" songwriting and a good mix of styles from heavy to very mellow.

But you can't really go wrong with The Drones because every album they've made is flawless.

You Let My Tyres down is probably my favorite song of this entire year. The big swell towards the end is so gut-wrenching. I love the dynamic with the female vocalist.

Really like this but I wish it didn't fall into the post-punk-monotony problem given how different this sounds

I’m not sure I understand the post punk tag for this.
