It's even worse than that Sint I think, I think it's a band that has lost its identity and allowed it's egotistical frontman to run rampant over it all. I refuse to believe that two people as tallented as Jamie and Matt are happy playing stuff as boring as this.

This sounds soooooooooooo tired omg. I think my rating may be too generous. I'm actually not able to make it through most of these songs. Opener has some promise but everything is greeeeey as fuck after that.

I got to half-way through track 2 and was so bored I gave up on it. If the whole album is like this, then its a hard pass from me.

yeah i agree about the lost identity part groundking - their early stuff was good because they were young and energetic and made music that appealed to young, energetic people in working class towns and such - this is very much 'oh we're grand and lush and oh so artsy now' ignoring the fact that that audience has always rejected them - they clearly needed to change something as they're too old to pull of the youthful vibe now but fuck like this isn't the waay to go
