I jammed it for the 4th time or so then youtube'd a live version of Nocturne with Dan on vocals and well, it's not Ashe what I miss, it's the spark of that song. It's a great album anyway but I personally prefer the subtle upbeat feeling of songs like that one.

Okay I just heard this in full, and honestly this is way better than I expected it to be. The production, apart from the snare, is amazing. The electronic / ambient elements stand out and the brass-like guitartone gives this record a unique sound. It might not be that groundbreaking for the band but I think I might see myself liking this more than Polaris

I honestly may bump this to a 4 which is surprising. It’s my favorite of theirs so far and it combines all their best qualities. Plus the djent sound isn’t as big of a focus.
