Not really sure how I feel about this. Part 2 is nice, but doesn't really hit me or anything. Part 1 has cool riffs and feels different from his usual stuff, so that's great.

i also don't rly like the more forced-raw production ;-) If it was lofi like the s/t or more earthy like Autumn Eternal i'm sure i'd like it as much as those LPs tho. teehee

Completely agree, I adored the production of Autumn Eternal and Roads to the North, these songs do little for me and the vocals and drumming are more distant than I'd like.

I mean the prev 2 albums had nice production but on this one it feels like they tried to make it sound colder and didn't rly do it that well. Not awful sounding but it coulda been better imo.
