The Artisan Era. Hadn't heard of them until this release but Inferi from the compilation sounds amazing. Inanimate Existence and Enfold Darkness also sound pretty promising

Oh man hawks you gotta jam Fragmentary. Modern classic no joke. The debut rules too but Frag is my favorite. This may take the spot though

Will get on them both hard soon. m/

Oh you should get on Inferi dude, solid stuff there. Their last album's a hard 4. Inanimate Existence are another pretty nice tech death outfit worth a check.

Yeah I'll more than likely grab a bundle for the Inferi album too. I need new shirts anyway lol. I saw Inanimate Existence a few years ago live but never got around to hearing any studio stuff until now. Definitely going to keep this label on my radar from now on.

I'd have thought they'd grow mellower and more dull over the years, didn't expect this from these old farts lol

Not a big fan of tech death metal, but this album is so tight.

Recently revisited some choice cuts from their debut. This doesn't feel quite as (forgive me for using this) 'experimental,' but its more concentrated to compensate. They've accentuated the core of what's worked for them in the past and discarded certain aspects that initially turned people off, the biggest of which seems to have been the pirate vox haha

It's true that they seem to have concentrated here those aspects of their skills and style that appeal to most listeners. The bass isn't fretless everywhere, which got on my nerves on Fragmentary. I still love Concealed for its more experimental character though.
