Caution is amazing, pretty much everything else is a snoozefest though. It just lacks the energy and dare I say invention that they in their earlier releases.

"We'll be rotating through some of the more highly regarded albums of the year for a good portion of December in lieu of 21 more days of stagnancy."
Highly regarded by whom? This album has a 3.6 average.

you don't take the word "great" to mean highly regarded?

I've always thought Sput's verbal markers were out of sync with the numerical ones. 3.5/5 isn't great to me, it's just about good.

agreed. If a band had 5 albums and each one had a 3.5 avg, I highly doubt people would be referring to them as "great"

Don't get the hate for this album. It's definitely their best behind Celebrate for me.
Also this has a million times more interesting rhythms going on than Joyce Manor.
