Hallelujah Money had only his vocals to go by. This, on the other hand, has everything and more.

"@potsy: how likely am I to 3 this?"

hmm honestly quite likely. there is a surprise chance that you might love it but i think you'd probably feel similarly to me and see its value but find it kind of silly.

lol that vid for Phantom of Allepoville, you can visualise the record company completely shit themselves.

You watching loft conversion, craft ale wankers? This is EXACTLY how to do this stuff properly. Complete obliqueness styled with depth, craft and a unique natural talent. The sort of thing that is near impossible to replicate. Fucking amazing.

ok it took awhile but i finally made sense of this, turns out its not actually gibberish. anyways, i do agree with that italicized portion... but regardless, it felt like a novelty listen to me. enjoyable, unique, and revealing but it indulges in its gimmicks to the point that its kitsch.

honestly all of this is a really good summation of how i feel about Gorillaz sometimes, as well as david lynch music and other stuff like that.

We could all do what lynch does, shove me knob in a hard drive and call it ‘techart’
