Demon's Souls had the best hub world hands down

I speed run all the souls games, so i know how to get around the archers easily - the one in the way you just bait into an attack and he falls off the ledge. Speaking of ds1's problems, i think the hitboxes are oftentimes atrocious (same for 2 tbh). Much prefer the i-frames in bloodborne and ds3. And dark miracles in ds1 are stupidly op in pvp

Come to think of it, fuck pvp in any souls game. It's a shitshow of latency exploitation and parry spamming. Parrying ruins pvp imo

It's bullshit, just circling around each other until the backstab occurs lmao. And yea hexes were too strong in DS1, even in DS2 they were pretty damn strong compared to other sorceries and miracles

People just pick the weapons with the largest hitboxes, like gundyrs spear which is the most bs weapon ever, and hit you from great distances even tho you were clearly far away from them, and then spam parry until they finally get it, because it's a 1 hit kill

I dabbled in DS1 and 2, always wanted to play Bloodborne but never did. I haven't touched a console game outside of Wii and PS2 titles and years, I'm really not much of a gamer anymore. Kinda miss the XBOX Live days tbh

I was wondering how the hell did this end being a Souls thread so I had to read back 4 pages.

I am jamming this now, it's alright, def. not terrible, but I get what tickles Doof. No matter how much i force myself, I can't go past this vocal style anymore.

And now, on the interesting matter. Man, I've put a shit lot of hours into DS1 and DS2 mainly, Demon's, Bloodborne and DS3 all platinum'd, DLC'd. BEST SERIES EVER.

I will wear full Faraam Knight set on mah wedding.

@Mars definitely try to play Bloodborne whenever the opportunity comes to you, that game is phenomenal



@Dewinged Nice, I have Bloodborne and DS1 platinum'd (DS1 is on 360 tho, just all achievements). I'm a hard fanboy of Artorias so his armor is my favorite, with the Lord's Blade Ciaran's Set behind it

I don't really have any PlayStation connections though unfortunately. Like I said most of my gameplay just comes from TF2, and even then I haven't touched that in a handful of weeks.

I'm partial to the belief that things should be left as they are. Sequels aren't a necessity and more often than not taint the quality of the original, possibly ruining its story and characters. This can also apply to game play and whatnot.

I would be down for a Bloodborne 2, but it'd be hard to capture the magic of it again because they did so much with the first game that I don't know what they could add

I agree, I would prefer to replay the original, which has everything I want from it that playing smth that tries to imitate the success of the first one.

I said the same of Dark Souls though, and we had DS2 and DS3.

DS2 was definitely the weakest link in the series to me, but it was still a good game



DS3 thoooooooo, that game went ham, especially all of the dlc

Oh yeah man.

I have great memories of DS2 and how the Scholar edition mixed it up. Good times.

DS3 was an absolute bang, the formula perfected in every level.

My fave will always be 1 though.
