No album exists within a vacuum. The low rating isn't entirely based on the quality of the album itself but takes into account what the album represents. You could say that's unfair but Wintersun's hardly the only band to get this treatment on Sputnik.

Anyone who enjoyed Time I will enjoy this. If you did not enjoy Time I, I would suggest you to listen to it once, or at least to Autumn, and then decide for yourself. Autumn is imho the best song here.

uhh, literally NONE of the 50 euros went to producing this album. it was already done before it went live. frankly, as well, it's beside the point.

nope. i adore time i, and i think this album is completely different in absolutely every way. the production, the songwriting style, the riffing style, the vocal delivery and arrangement, the atmosphere... only thing that's basically the same is the lyrics and, well, they've always been bad in wintersun so i can glance over that.

not really. he said it was gonna be a good album and worth investing cash in the forest package. for my part this is true, it turned out to be a very good album and the remasters of the debut and time i are great. the second coming of jesus is indeed kind of promised for time 2 tho, with the new studio sauna n shit. so there's definitely a debt do be discharged now by the band. the forest seasons is still a super enjoyable album for me, also because it's different to time 1.

I'm glad wintersun is finally getting their own jacuzzi. I let Jari stay at my house back in '04 and made him mac n cheese and he fucking brought it into my parents' jacuzzi and the macaroni "not cheesy enough for me man," so i gave him a block of velveeta and i guess he fucking melted it or threw it into the jacuzzi like a bath bomb because he clogged the fucking jets with velveeta. My parents were pissed and they took away my condoms for a whole month because of fucking Jari. Now I have a fucking middle schooler that I'm dealing with all thanks to Jari and his fucking jacuzzi obsession. Didn't even listen to Time I cuz i'm still pissed about what happened. Hope he doesn't clog the new one up with artisan cheese or some shit. Fuck that prick.
