I feel ya tho OF was one of my favourite movements of the past few years but this album just grabbed me by the jewels on first listen and has not relinquished its grip slightly, prolly will be the highlight of this year for me

I like LAMB a lot. I really hope it's the closer on Saturation II cause it would work so fucking well. Also, the version they have for the album is apparently 9 minutes long (they played it on a livestream once) and has verses from everyone. So it should without a doubt be a highlight

also disagree a lot with no one on this being individually talented or original enough in comparison to OF. I feel like every member brings something different to the table and we don't really have enough projects to judge each member on their own (Ameer, Kevin and Dom have a few projects). Not to mention IMO there's no weak link as opposed to the several in OF (Mike G, Domo, maybe Hodgy, Tyler at times).

mike g had some sick verses (check loaded on blackened white) and his album wasnt bad either he just wasnt that into the rap game and got out of it quickly, domo's rolling papers tape in particular was great and i liked no idols, hodgy's pretty good too blackended white was a sick project, most credit for that being due to left brain but still

alchemist either produces the best fucking beats ever (covert coup [fuh-law-lezz], "brand name marijuana"), or you get shit like that or the crap he did with prodigy or somethin'

I mean, keep it real: Covert Coup is a SERIOUS contender for best-produced urban whatever of the decade, possibly millennium, maybe even ever frfr
