after the fourth paragraph I got tired of reading and then I found that I had to make a substantial effort to scroll to the bottom of the review.
This band doesn't deserve more than maybe 4 paragraphs...

2 and a half paragraphs are enough for me.

I feel like this is a companion album to the new Chainsmokers

Why are you guys even bothering with this? I'm genuinely curious. Unless you were already a fan I don't see how you have the time or inclination... I struggle to keep up with music & this is clearly a waste of valuable listening time. I read (half) the review & it's got a 1.7 average on a website that's generally overly kind (ref average user ratings) & it's Linkin Park who've been godawful for a good while... it's clearly complete trash.

I feel stupid for even commenting but at least I'm listening to something decent whilst doing it.

Lmao @ Mike trying to use one of those stereotypical Migos flows

I actually listened to see how bad it was. I've known they've been trash since Minutes to Midnight, but this was a new low as indicated by the singles. Curiosity got the best of me. And ironically, I was not disappointed in that this was actually worse than I expected.

Besides, listening to something as bad as this is like a palate cleanser. Makes you appreciate something good afterward. Get off your high horse.

Good review, albeit a little long and elitist

I genuinely don't understand why people are listening to this, that's not me being on my 'high horse' because I know a lot of people will be expecting it to be terrible & that's what I struggle to understand. When listening to new music I usually do so expecting a decent outcome due to the reputation of the band/style of the music etc... the reasons you'd expect I guess. This just feels like a waste of time to me & I'd need an extraordinary amount of free time to bother.

You and i are mostly on the same page. This isn't a good album, I just think the 1s are kind of exaggerated, because let's face it, linkin park is an easy target. Like giving a Bieber album a 1

For rhe record I don't typically pos or neg reviews, the whole system feels arbitrary to me

I wouldn't be so bothered about this if the band wasn't talking themselves up about anti-pop and that kinda stuff on The Hunting Party. Like I say in the review, you could argue this would be an inevitable step in the band's career, but this following The Hunting Party makes little sense

In Flames has been outdone in terms of selling out.

This honestly sounds like Chainsmokers or some shit. The first words that came out of Chester's mouth set a standard how utterly terrible this was going to be.

Hard to say that I was expecting anything, but their last album was the best since Meteora I think and this really is almost offensive, at least for those who have kept their fate.

Btw very good review I must say.
