Edit: Real tired of these "industry secrets" in comedy & music & hollywood, basically all media. If people know that people are doing fucked up things, they should be outted as fast as possible. But, y'know, people will place money and careers first.

million that's exactly it - people place their own lives first when these things happen. it's scary to accuse someone, even if true. one could ruin their own life doing such a thing. we can only encourage more people to come out and not treat them like it's their fault or that they're lying

I mean on the one hand, if these bands were dropping their support because of a bunch of unfounded claims that would be pretty low.
On the other hand if this was already common knowledge and they just glossed over it for this long, they're a bunch of dildos.

So no actually, their art doesn't say a single solitary thing about sexual assault. So your criticism is flat out incorrect.
And what, just fuck Liv and her contributions to the band, the songs she's written? You're writing off two people's art for something only one of them MAY have done. If you want to shit on Ben go ahead but Liv hasn't done anything wrong, and some of the groups very best songs are the ones she writes and/or sings. It's pretty sad that she's guilty by association to everyone apparently and people can't separate her from Ben, as if PWR BTTM was a solo act and she didn't even exist.
