Carrion Skies is better. I hope this is as stripped down Fen goes. Wow, what a primal sound on this one. Simplistic but pretty effective.

Physically, the bass makes it seem a lot more "full" than it really is. The compositions on Carrion were more interesting but that doesn't diminish the fact this will easily make my 2017 aoty list lol

Falls of Rauros got my aoty so far but thatll probably change near years end when all the heady gold gets dropped. This'll make the top 10 im very certain tho

This is pretty good, which surprised me because I really did not enjoy their first 3 LPs, and pretty much wrote them off after that. The songwriting here is great and I'm digging the production.
