It's a good album, but all the initial 4.5s and 5s were definitely misleading.

i mean when you have elite minds like acad, treb and yours truly coming to the consensus that an album's a 5 it resonates with the userbase.

yeah Rented World is underrated.

its not as immediate as OTIP or this but it grows HARD.
that comparison made between rented world and this in the review is the perfect way to describe it. "Going from lyrics of “this is how I feel and it sucks,” to “this is how I felt, and I got through it,” is the best way to describe the difference between them. but its also kinda why rented world is the record i am currently more partial to

jamming otip it's p solid

i miss when Eric was an interesting bassist. Chamberlain Waits is the last time he really contributed to their sound. why is it he seemed to stop giving a fuck when they started getting really good? also i wish they did more collaborative stuff with their vocals like on their first album instead of just having Greg songs and Tom songs. take a lesson from Captain, We're Sinking boys.
anyways, i love this band. those are my gripes.

"Review Summary: So you just turned 30, now what?"
