j. cole is solid. there are way better rappers out there, this album is pretty meh. but 2014 and born sinner have some bangers

ive always like him this was a big step down though for whatever reason
he sounds less than committed to music now
|
| |
Born Sinner is truly one of the worst albums i've had the extreme displeasure of listening to. 2014 and this are at least kinda average

the warm up / friday night lights are his best stuff, rec'd if you even sort of like him

At least he did justice to the Exchange beat. Bryson Tiller's version sucks.

love when someone actually describes why J. Cole is bad.
|
| |
My roommate nuts for this dude. He has some good shit, but nothing that's mind-blowing.
|
| |
I can relate to that. J. Cole is loved within the high school of mine, even my cousin said that the Junior High kids are jamming his albums a lot. He has some good tracks tbh, but nothing come close to be mind blowing. He is a good rapper, but a mediocre musician.

It wasn't exceptional, but it's still a good listen. I can't believe people are praising artists like Future and Migos so much. They are complete garbage.
|
| |
Lmao I'd listen to either those two over anything this guy has released. Apart from some of the standalone singles around this thing's release.
