"More whinier"

The quote that is literally always used when they don't like the vocals on something.

"I hate the vocals on Vulgar Display of Power, they are so whiny"

I may have to give another listen but nothing's clicking with me... God Damn was the only really good song, still happy to see improvement from HttK

Gonna be honest, I don't think this justifies the hype. The technicality is back, but it's like they forgot how to write a good hook along the way. A lot of the songs drag on *way* longer than they should without leaving much of a mark, and M. Shadows sounds so bad here that it's actually quite distracting.

Would be better with some of the stuff cut from it

1. The stage

2. Paradigm

3. God damn

4. Creating god

5. Roman sky

6. Fermi paradox

7. Exist

This would be so much more listenable tbh

"it's ok if you madly frothed over Waking the Fallen and City of Evil, a bit overly wanky tho"

for sure and even the benefit of the improved technicality is hindered by the atrocious production
