Really digging the Return to Forever vibes from these guys. They can have such an uplifting sound. Def amongst my favorite in that whole instrumental prog scene

Hopefully it'll be more than essentially an extended EP this time, it felt like not much effort went into this.

If its basically a 40+min version of Sunhead, I will be a happy man.

Inhale is one of the top tracks of 2016, the composition is more nuanced and subtle than a lot of the other tracks.

The progression to the big bend in the solo is incredible, it's a simple set of triplets with nothing fancy but Plini showcases mastery in his ability to shred simply and emotionally which is refreshing. Some of the other tracks would have benefited from more "soul" in my opinion

Any of y'all check out that Neural DSP Plini plugin? I've been messing with it the past few days and it's super sick, but I might have to go with the Nolly for versatility

ah yeah man, amp sims are a whole other beast than just turning on an amp and jamming through what you have, and the neural dsp stuff is some of the most user friendly stuff I've seen comparatively speaking.. The almost endless amounts of tweaking and variables can certainly be a bit overwhelming, especially at first.

Yeah, I've been using the Archetype for some recording and while I'm travelling and it's awesome, definitely the best plugin I've ever played. It still doesn't beat the Fractal in my main rig, but sometimes it comes so close it's scary, specially considering the price and how much easier to use it is. Definitely the Neural DSP guys and Plini did a great job.

The delay/reverb on the cleans and leads on the Plini are just... wow

I have an Axe II I've been wanting to upgrade and that Neural Cortex might be the one
