Bump

This album is just over two years old. Still love it just as much as I did when it came out

Definitely. I remember seeing them open for Touche Amore last February in Brighton and it was pretty damn awesome, unfortunately they had to pull out of the last two shows as their singer had a heart attack during one of the shows and had to be rushed to hospital so I wasn't able to see them on the London date of the tour. They played in Glasgow a couple of days ago and while I didn't go due to being based in London, the show's been uploaded to YouTube and it's awesome that they're slowly getting back to doing stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otLY36m4O80

Album still kills me. Even though I've never experienced heartbreak before, I can't imagine how terrible of a feeling it must be.

Yeah, I think experiencing heartbreak about six months ago made me appreciate this album more than I did before, but even before that I connected to the bleak emotions expressed on the album.

It’s a really good album dude. Tragic lyrics, but they made some beautiful music because of it. I’ve also been jamming a lot of When Losing Everything Is Everything You Wanted.

I've been jamming their stuff a lot recently too. I find it hard to pick between this and Teenage Haze in terms of what my favourite release is, but 21 is definitely my favourite song of theirs. They were probably one of the biggest influences I had when I was writing my EP that I'm due to release soon.

Yeah. That heartattack thing came out of nowhere.

Didn't know it happened either, until someone at the London show (same show that Kurai mentioned) said that Departures are not playing due to an emergency.

On the plus side, the Drummer of TA opened playing an accoustic guitar session. Dude can sing and jam pretty good.
