There's something about this band that sounds... idk, faceless maybe? Like they don't seem to have a distinct sound or character. It's great, but it doesn't jump out at me.

I thin Chaos is their most charismatic album. It's got so many weird tangents that keep it interesting.

glad someone pointed it out

yea this is probably the weakest Revo but still a real damn good time. got a promo for an Empire re-release and it actually slays pretty hard.

this band is so fucking tight. Great riffs, and it's mighty impressive the vocalist is also a guitarist.

might up this to a 4.5 if I can't find a song I dislike.

David "The Dave" Davidson. Badass name to go with an insanely talent musician/vocalist.

I agree the vocals initially turned me off, bu the music kept drawing me in and now I would say the vocals fit very well.

i agree, i should've have phrased myself more appropriately.

@bloc, it was the same for myself, and I'm on the same page as you now.

I think for me I tend to enjoy more range with harshes, there's practically no highs in this album (if at all?), but it fits nonetheless.

I kinda like where they are now, sounds more mature and focused. Band is good no matter what album though.

This album got completely buried by the other stellar releases of 2016. Might have to listen to it again, but it didn't pull me as hard as Ulcerate, Deathspell, Be'Lakor, Meshuggah, [insert another 10 arbitrary releases]...

@Brewtality - well this album rules hard, but it's not as amazing as anything you mentioned. This is great for its genre, Ulcerate, Deathspell, Meshuggah, etc are just unusually phenomenal albums in general
