They opened for Tesseract, I met them and they were telling us how headliners love to be the loudest band on the bill but they didn't care. They said Astronoid wanted to be very loud and so they let them. The bass and the drums were the only thing you can practically hear, not to mention they use four backing tracks for vocals.

Ah. Could be that they are pretty new to the live scene, too. Maybe after this cycle they'll get better live.
If they sounded like that I bet Tesseract sounded amazing. I don't even wear earplugs when I watch them because they have the perfect mix.

I mean, give it a shot, like I said, I like some of their stuff, specially the album where Ashe sings, Altered State. The rest is djent on the softer side, nothing wrong about it but I'm guessing it's not for you Hawks.
