4.7 holy fucking shit

Saw that lonely 2.0 on the ratings charts and wondered 'hmm, who could that be?" and I was not disappointed

Also no way is this that good but I sorta have to listen now

Shit, maybe I need to give this another shot. I listened while stuck in traffic on my way home a couple nights ago. I cringed at the clean-singing, and mostly thought it sounded like the formulaic verses and choruses of their past, despite the phenomenal shredding. And it bummed me out, because I was anticipating this straight for 5 years.

I'll give it another run in headphones...

wasn't expecting what i heard, can't rate this yet, gotta listen a few more times to make sure what i just heard was real

The hype is strong, but it is a solid release, Jac. Just don't get your expectations THAT high. I've given it two spins and I would say I'm currently sitting on a 3.9. No doubt the record deserves a 4.1 average, minimum, but it's definitely not worth a 4.7. It's only been out for like 7 seconds and it has already basically been hailed as the second coming.

I knew immediately who it was and was similarly not disappointed.
