Grammys, 9 & Hype are straight up fire, the beats are pretty nice but over all it aint wavy

Hotline Bling sticks out like a sore thumb on this

Pretty bland album, not very impressed on first listen. First track, Fire & Desire and Views were actually pretty good, Hotline Bling should not be the last track, Views is a good way to end an album. Shame the majority of the songs that precede it aren't great.

Hotline is a bonus track

Is it really? My copy straight from Apple Music doesn't have (Bonus Track) next to it. Thought it was a weird closer, bonus track makes sense.

"Hotline Bling" song by Canadian rapper Drake, the song serves as the lead single from his fourth studio album Views. The song itself is only credited as a bonus track on Views, however the song is present on all editions of the album.

whenever a new drake album comes out it makes everyone on this site so pissed off regardless of how each individual feels about the album and that's something magical

Meh album. Overhyped. None of Drake's bars really do anything for me. It seems like his whole shtick is talking about relationship issues, girls, and his "enemies".
On top of that, he literally repeats himself over and over again in the same song.
If there's anything he's good at doing, its putting me to sleep.

fuck, the first half is mostly awesome songs and then the second half is full of fillers :[

summer's over interlude is exquisite tho

I think this album might grow on me a bit though, its pretty chill. Drake's never been that much of a lyrical rapper in the first place, he's all about moods and flow anyways.
|
| |
Don't know why Drake feels he needs to make albums over 40 minutes long.
|
| |
yeah 10 tracks of bangers would be way better,
|
| |
true that. the long album formula worked on Take Care (I love every track on that record, although its running time detracts some replay value from it), but it is far from being an advantage for Views. tracks 12 to 16 are insufferably boring.

A lot of rap/hip hop albums are overly long.
