I think it was that people hated scott stapp, and that their radio singles (especially past this album) were pretty cringe and overplayed. I’ve always felt creed’s best stuff was the stuff that didn’t play on the radio.

Better album than Full Circle (which was just a moneygrab for everyone involved), but they get so much more interesting on Human Clay and Weathered. Great atmosphere on this thing though. Definitely gives me "depressed in Florida" vibes.
