Saw these guys in Milwaukee on the 8th, and they were phenomenal. Possibly the best live show I've seen (and way better than Slayer). Mustaine sounded pretty damn good too, but I couldn't really hear him all that well except on "Sweating Bullets".

New stuff was good too, Dave was like "People said I was racist for writing this song (Post-American World), wtf?"

The tour has a great set, though I agree they may be blasting the music a bit hard. When I saw Megadeth last month the bass drum was at a ridiculously high decibel.

"People said I was racist for writing this song (Post-American World), wtf?"

lol I can see why it would ruffle feathers since it's unabashedly "America is the best", but if it's true people called him a racist that's just stupid. Some people still think that race is inextricable from culture/country when that's so demonstrably false. Those people are the actual racists since it's essentially racial determinism.

Well, being xenophobic can be just as bad as being racist so not sure about your argument there.

Still, I maintain Dave is just having a laugh here anyway doing his usual 'ooh us Americans better beware the bogeyman' and it barely matters who the current in vogue bogeymen are

The audience (and people in general) have just got more sensitive/politically correct since 1990 - that's the main difference

I wish they'd played "Skin O' My Teeth", "In My Darkest Hour", and "Wake Up Dead", but that's pretty much all I missed.

Ah dude, that's weird because they totally played the latter two when I saw them.

Same here, latter two were on the setlist (saw them in June). I def missed Skin O My Teeth though, such a killer tune...

But the setlist as a whole was pretty awesome so no complaints from me.

Really like the title track here. A step back into the right direction. I like this more than Super Collider and Thirteen by quite a bit. Solid album.
