No air con is preferable to what my gym insists on - which is blowing hot air to compensate for it being cold outside. Makes cardiovascular training insufferable.

I find when I travel I find stuff people do interests rather than irritates me unless it's ridiculously intrusive so I've got a high tolerance to most behaviour. In terms of actually being amazed at how respectful people are Thailand is the best experience I've had to the point I didn't even want to get drunk or be loud out there because it just seemed pointless/unnecessary
