That ep didn't possess their other lp's emotive capabilities, agreed. Something was off.

Just formulaic post rock to me

Maybe it was discarded material from D&D. Haven't checked it yet.

Audiotree is a great gift

Yeah Mars, some really good moments in there. Interviews are a bit cringeworthy smtms though.

I mainly watch for the live shiz. Usually got some great high-energy stuff

Which ones are your favourites or would rec? I think Caspian and Marriages were among my faves. Explosions in the sky were good too, on quiet stuff Emma Ruth Rundle and Julien Baker killed it.

Exotic Animal Petting Zoo did a session and it's pretty sick, they play two of their best tracks. They got an insane drummer that has a resemblance to Flanders

realized the other day "Arcs of Command" will more than likely be in my top 10 songs of the decade
I enjoy the rest of this a lot too, but that track is truly stunning

tbh Sad Heart of Mine is underrated as fuck
the climax is just insane, especially live, ad I also love how concise it is. it's just a perfectly structured post-rock song.
