Yeah, I think poo-tang would take on a little bit of a different meaning.
I really want this album...

I'm not too fond of Snow, to be honest. The guitar is really cool, but it could have been cut down in time.

Nah, I just didn't know how to spell that slang word for "vagina".

I don't know about this - double albums are expensive, and I've seen really good and really bad reviews off this. Not sure where it stands

it's about as artistic as brick in the basement of a small bungalow. i dont mean to sound condascending but stadium arcadium is FACTUALLY one of the biggest disappointments in musical history.
That analogy was also quite good.......it's not a letdown if you were expecting an album that sounds like Californiacation, BSSM, and By The Way. Which is what most people should have been expecting.

I got Stadium Arcadium for $15.99, but because I was one of the first one thousand customers to buy it in my local music store, I got a free poster of RHCP in their cosmic outer space football gear.

I want the shirt for this. Though you have to enter a contest.

Stadium Arcadium cost me £12.99 in Sainsburys.
I have taken this disk by disk, I have gotten to know Jupiter really well, and havn't fully listened to Mars yet. After having a proper listen, Jupiter is pretty flawless, and Strip My Mind and Wet Sand are perfect tracks.

after listening to this album numerous times in the last... day, ive come to the conclusion that it owns, hard
my highlights:
Readymade, Torture Me, Storm In A Teacup, 21st Century, Warlocks
my least favorite (actually, the only songs i disliked):
Snow (dragged out and sounded like The Zephyr Song too much), If
by the way, the review was brilliant

I pretty much agree with your least favorites.
Readymade owns. I love the "Yo, clean it up, Johnny!"

I know. I expected a lot less feedback. It feels weird getting so many comments.
How's my little Ian liking it so far?
:D I'm lovin it!
Storm In A Teacup is the best song, so good it should soon be my new username.
This isn't entirely what I expected, but good nonetheless.

There's a lot of great songs individually (mostly the calmer songs, the Peppers don't have a good success rate with their funkier songs on the album) but the record simply doesn't pull it off as a double album. Well-known double albums have off-beat experimentation, innovation, and reinvention like The Beatles' The White Album, or Pumpkins' [i]Mellon Collie And the Infinite Sadness. Sure, these albums aren't perfect, but who really wants 2 hours of a band being predictable? No matter how much Flea praises the album, I don't think Stadium Arcadium feels like it was meant to be 2 CDs.

Mars has grown on me, but Jupiter is definitely the cooler of the two planets. They're both tied musically with me.

I definitely think some songs could have been done without *cough* If *cough*, but as an album, i really like it.
