Which means to say that if another, new - comer band had released 10.000 days, you would probably write some triumphant review.
Well of course, but if any NEW band started out at the level Tool is currently, it would be astonishing. But it's just not possible to think of it that way. The understanding of what Tool is, and people's expectations of them, is so ingrained in most people's minds that it has to be taken into consideration.
Plus, no other band could get away with releasing albums five years apart, or making unique packaging for their CDs. I think we should be grateful for the Tool we have

I love this album. I liked it a lot after the first listen and if anything it's grown on me a little since then. The only test left is it's staying power, but I don't think that'll be a problem. Hopefully it's not as long of a wait until we hear from them again.
This is my favorite out of the reviews for 10,000 days. Good job

At the time of writing, I haven't rated this album yet. I like to let an album's full force wash over me, listen to it excessively, and then listen to other stuff including the album for about a week or so to get perspective. As of now, this album is looking to be somewhere between 3.5-4. I don't know exactly where yet. To the reviewer, your review was very good. Some comments: Jambi is better than you said, Wings for Marie is worse. Intension is worse. Rosetta Stoned is better. Wheels falling off? If the fillers really bother you that much, skip them. So what if he says "s**t the bed"? It's not that big of a deal. My personal favorite actually might be that Rosetta Stoned. The Pot and Vicarious grab your attention first, then 10,000 days and Rosetta Stoned hold it. I don't know if anybody else experienced this, but when I got my CD from my local Best Buy, it was severely scratched upon opening. Not just light scratches either, deep gashes. I can't even listen to Viginti Tres, and Right in Two is really badly f**ked. The other tracks are only minorly messed up. Overall, a good album. Cant touch aenima or lateralus though.

Yo, if you don't know where to put commas, or realize that spelling isn't grammar, you
should take 5th grade grammar and spelling again. This Message Edited On 05.14.06
