as someone who 5'd dream theater, I know actually listening to your music is a foreign concept to you, but you really should try it sometime

I didn't call it flat out boring, it's just kind of bland by their standards and tbh, I refer to a small chunk when I say that anyway

and torts, no need to ad hominem unless you genuinely want to look stupid

It's not so much "bland" as it is of them all the less abrassive proyect by DG yet. I'm not saying accesible, let that be clear, dis still Ded Grap“s after all.

Listen to NLDW or NoTM and then this... It's more to the point.

I mean, yes, it has some abrasive sounds and some heavy synths, but it's less obtuse, not as esoteric as those other albums. I think it's more definable than other DG proyects. Like, compare "Giving Bad People Good Ideas" to "Come Up and Get Me", i find the first a little more contained, a little more structured.

It's all personal opinion, of course.

contained doesn't negate it being abrasive tho lmao

plus with the addition of hot head being almost incomprehensible at points, comparing individual songs on each album to bp songs is automatically fairly pointless

Well, then it is a matter of dictionaries.

For me for something to be abrasive, it needs to be unconstrained too, and I find that all of the songs in BP are constrained by a very tight structure of hook-verse-hook-verse.

Hot Head is the only exception, yea.

do you know the definition of abrasive? lmfao, calling bp NOT abrasive is just wrong. not opinion. it just is. doesn't directly correlate to it being objectively good, but it's definitely abrasive

I meant dictonaries as in what I think is "abrasive" music and what YOU think is "abrasive" music. Sorry for the confusion.

What's important is: BP rules.
