It's the flip side of Vespertine lyrically.

Rather than being based around the positive side of love shown on that record, this is a far more negative take on it.

She's done more Aus shoes than UK shows, would you go see her?

This is harder to get into than I thought it would be lol. There's definitely a ton of depth, but I'm sure I won't enjoy this as much as I should for at least a few weeks. She definitely isn't an immediate type of artist.

Brilliant musically, but it still needs to click. Should be noted that this is my first Bjork album.

Bare in mind this is a cathartic, introspective journey for her...I wouldn't recommend it for a newcomer. Bouncy loony Björk might be a better way to begin, so maybe try Debut or Post. She really found her own sound on Homogenic, my personal favourite. I see that album as the beginning of her journey to the limits of musical expression she continued throughout the 00's.

Check Post, it's the best album ever and her most accessible. Homo is pretty accessible and amazing, and Vespertine is slightly less accessible but more amazing. But seriously, Post.

Sowing, if this doesn't persuade you to listen to Post then God help you: http://youtu.be/D0Pv-UkoRC4

From the bits I've heard of this she has made the album of her career.
That nutter who was going to melt bjorks face in the 90s would dig.
