I saw this album for 10 bucks in a cd shop, should i get it?? Cause the only thing ive heard from them is Come Clarity and Soundtrack to Your Escape, and those are superb albums.

$10 is definitely worth it especially if there's bonus tracks

I keep trying to get into death metal other than Opeth, but the genre doesn't really do it for me yet, neither does this album. Any recommendations for where I should start looking?

Heartwork by Carcass

There is a chance you may simply not like melo-death at all though.

going from opeth to in flames is like switching from atkins to vegan in metal terms, try Edge of Sanity - Crimson II, Entombed - Left Hand Path, Dark Tranquillity - The Mind's I, Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh, I dunno Opeth isn't really just death metal

Opeth aren't death at all; just prog-metal with death growls.

Also, whenever I see this album's title, I think of two jester's racing for something, as if it would amuse their king. This Message Edited On 01.06.09

Edge of Sanity was a Swedish death metal band whose work often delved into experimental, even progressive, territory. While artists like Bathory and Emperor had recorded songs that could be regarded as epic, Edge of Sanity are regarded alongside Opeth as being the first to fuse extreme metal styles like death and black metal with genuine progressive rock.
Yeah, I'll start with this then.

metal + death growls = no death metal? I probably must've misunderstood it.
