The vocals were irritating, and the the music just sort of felt...convoluted? I'd have to give it some more thought, but their sound on that record just didn't sit with me at all.

I like this one but everytime I tried to listen to Circa Survive past stuff I always stopped out of boredom.
I want to try again, what should I listen to?
It's probably Green's addiction. I guess he wrote more poignant and heartfelt stuff in this one and the
music is pretty good. I remember some of the stuff from that album with the hot-air balloon that was pretty
bland music wise, was that an impression or someone can agree?

I never got into their older stuff, going to give it all another listen because their singles from those albums are growing on me. I love Blue Sky Noise and beyond though.

I'm pretty pissed. I only listen music through Deezer and although all of their records are available there, this one isn't, at least not in my country. I already wrote to Sumerian Records twice if they could change the rights for that since their other stuff is available and I don't see any apparent reason for blocking Descensus, but didn't receive any reply. Well, less money for them...
