It's plenty of good stuff between those two albums, it's probably the period when they experimented the most.

Obscured By Clouds is very good, while More has its moments (Cirrus Minor and Green is The Colour are so great).

As for the 80s albums, I think that Final Cut is underrated and if you liked The Wall you'll like it for sure (even if it may take a few jams), while A Momentary Lapse of Reason is probably the weakest Pink Floyd album (Learning to Fly and On The Turning Away are highly recommended though).
