Awesome choice for sure. I can't decide between Leviathan or Crack the Skye at this point, but they are both wonderful additions to the new millennium of progressive music. Did you hear any new power metal albums this year, because Epica's new release seems to have plenty of praise even here?

Well one of my favorite reviewers on the Metal Archives loves extreme and progressive metal, but hates Mastodon, so I can understand people with good tastes just like him not liking the band.

Crack the Sky was pretty cool but my main problem with them is I feel no pull from any of their stuff for multiple listens. Unlike this.
