SHUT YOUR FACE
But yeah, I love how 4.20 sounds like it's gonna just drone out from around the 14 minute mark but then they come back at hit you width the nastiest riff on the album. So. Good.

Dude the synths and short ambient parts honestly make this album.

i like how the drums have a bit more of a glitch-y, electronic feel than on previous albums

When the drums first come in on 4.18 shit sounds like your in some evil club. Then at 4:29 huge mutant alien dinosaur monsters bust in and start tearing everyone apart. Yeah...

I like the drums! This is the only band I know of that can actually superfast blasting like that because their riffs actually seem to go at a matching rate. It's like a maelstrom of antimatter pulverizing you. m/

Zaruyache, I couldn't have said that better myself. I just imagine their drummer is really an ancient extraterrestrial being that fell out of the black hole these guys created when they were first practicing their riffs and it has 4 arms and 8 legs so it can quadruple blast and octuple pedal.

| |
noooooo they totally fucked up the drums on this one :[
didn't like it nearly as much as III after the first listen

No way man, they needed to tweak their sound, changing the tone and timing of the drums was a positive step.

i like how the drums are obviously programmed, gives the album a more synthetic vibe which works well with the other instruments
