Never really cared for the last album. All I know is that Country Song is terrible.

What you think of this album Scuro?

imo it's not bad actually, if i had to give a rating now, I'd give it a 3. Most of the tracks were pretty good and there wasn't really any that I would go out of my way to skip so; 3. Disclaimer II is so much better though, but even then that album is like a 3.5.

You know, I can't really find anything really horrible in this album. It's just another post-grunge/Seether album and it's not remarkable in any way, shape or form.

Words As Weapons is a good song but it's eerily similar of Mad World

fucking this!

It's the vocal melody, but it's the first thing I thought of when I heard it.

I really dug Tonight off of the last album, but this is definitely better overall than the last album. FBINS, I maintain, was a solid album. But lyrically, it was crap.

The lyrics in Negative Spaces is worse than the new LP album.

Has Seether ever been known for great lyrics though?

You know, even the vocals I'm not a fan of. I mean, you've heard the style done a million times over.

True, but I can't get enough. This style of music has kept me entertained for at least 15 years and i still come back for more. haha

For the genre his vocals are pretty standard, but comparing them to Seether's earlier albums, I don't think I would have ever predicted Shaun Morgan using falsetto.

Well he's not the best vocalist in the world but he's not the worst.

Yeah I dig the vocals actually, one of the better parts of this band.

Yeah, I also wouldn't be able to pinpoint exactly what I like about this band, but I appreciate Morgan's vocal range, and his desire to experiment. Though I won't say the falsetto really worked this time.

I just can't see what anyone would find in a band like this if they didn't like the vocals. It's just bland otherwise.

Meh, I suppose if you actually disliked the vocals then this would be much worse but if you were neutral towards them I suppose you could still enjoy the songs. The songwriting is pretty good throughout so there's that. But yeah, the vocals are the main reason I personally like Seether.
