To the rest of you who inhabit this rat hole you dont deserve YES music

imo Subway Walls is the best song here. And the only song that actually bears its catchiness well is
The Game, but it's all ruined by stupid arrangements and stupid lyrics

His vocals too here

there are plenty of Yes fans here, albeit most likely younger of age than you are assuming you're born 1968.
on another note, that does not mean you have to dig everything they've put out especially considering how different their albums are compared to one another.
on yet another note, that also does not mean you are not a fan if you don't enjoy every bloody note produced by this band. you're being very irrational, friendguy.

on yet a-motherfucking-nother note, Close to the Edge is one of my favourite albums of all time.
|

Relayer's a great album, definitely a gem of 70s prog
this one is not particularly similar lol
my faves are all miserable groups like Crimso and Henry Cow and VDGG anyway

Yes "don't have to make an album better than Close To The Edge each time," but they are not above criticism either . . .
I think this album is flawed—not because it isn't a classic like Close To The Edge, but because it is weak in and of itself. I enjoy it, but I can’t rate it higher than a 2.5 because I have to skip tracks 3 & 5 to like it. I think the album begins and ends well, but the middle is weak. In my opinion this is an average pop rock album.
