Lied To is my favourite song in extreme music of the last decade. It's unfathomably intense

Love Idylls – I wear my Prayer for Terrene shirt frequently!

In case anyone has been holding out for something new since The Barn in 2017, the members all moved to different areas of AU. That's all I'm aware of, but would believe the members have other stuff going on that's taken/taking priority. Would've loved to see where they'd go, such a great band.

Do any of the members have projects that you're aware of?

Taxt - yes. For context I chatted with my friend who is very tapped in to AU underground music, who then asked a label owner in Brisbane - where Idylls were from. I got some info on Chris's activity but also came out with more great bands to check out - waiting for digital releases on them though.

Based on what he said, Chris was involved with Verity Whisper, you can find some of their live footage on YT & a 7" split with another band called GUPPY on Bandcamp. I'm not based in AU and the bands seem to be very new, so it's hard to find additional info. I do know based on the chat I had though that Verity Whisper became a band called Craning, who currently don't have any material up but have played some shows. The former is experimental noise rock, check out the Bearded Lady live show - definitely some Idylls-esque guitar work there. Craning have some hefty post-metal influences (in my opinion) if you're into that. Both are really cool, looking forward to output - Craning are active on IG, not sure if I can share that here but if you search Craning band you'll find it easily. I was also told about a band called Jousting (not the one you'll find on streaming) that opened for Converge at one point though I couldn't find any info about the band, thinking they're more hyperlocal.

Sorry for the long block of text, not sure if this helps much but it's what I have. Enjoy!
