Sometimes when I'm going hard in the paint eating a huge 'murica burger, I jam some Emmure to pump me up and helps me digest.

I like Frankie's style, he reminds me of a younger me.

Acacia Strain at least doesn't do those pussy rap vocals and plays a riff or two unlike these chodes.

Am I the only one who thought that this was an Eminem album for the first seconds because of the backwards E?

Emmure is an eclectic band which attracts an eclectic audience. More artists than just musicians, Emmure's music touches the part of the listener that Islams call the "Whispering Eye" and psychologists refer to as the Unconscious. These art school proteges lead a new breed of musicians which feel that the music and art speak for themselves. In concert, you will find yourself traversing unique worlds made of odd time signatures, mystical subject matter, hypnotizing visuals and transcendental soundscapes.

I'll begin by saying that Emmure is a big deal to me. The band, in and of itself, has shed light on many things that went on in my head, things I wasn't sure were real; things like fear, rage and "self."

Emmure had something that just stuck, a sound that provoked a cathartic feeling that...made sense. After some time Emmure introduced me to Dane Cook, a stand-up comedian I've come to admire not only as an entertainer but as a genuine human being. Emmure started teaching me about Jung's concept of self, about the binary system, about pain when in change and about euphoria when in comfort; the experience was like being in the someone else's imagination.

The thing I wanted to say, are not these things. What I wanted to say to this community was: This band brings people together in a very peculiar and special way, what with the new album coming up and everyone drooling over it. In this wait I see a faithful fan-base. A fan-base that is about experience and depth. I am impressed by this fan-base. Never satisfied and always digging further whilst sinking deeper the Emmure aficionado experience is not complete without a process of sharing and understanding of oneself and of others.
