this album has two of my favorite rush songs. if they are the "singles" thats ok. rush writes some good tunes. but not enough good tunes are here, on this album
i hear a band trying to fit in with the times. which is common for bands to do if longevity is an issue. rush had been ahead of their time, really. here they seem to stall in the times
skinny tie rush. its ok, i posi'd snakes and arrows. if thats what it is called?

i was browsing the rush catalog here and noticed roll the bones. holy shit one of my favorite songs, period
also want to mention i hear a reggae influence in alex lifeson's playing and wonder if any one else hears it, or if you know he might have some influences? i am not a musician so can't say exactly what i am hearing, but he has a choppy style sometimes, and a slashing rhythm that reminds me of reggae players. not reggae music, but reggae guitar
thats the best i can explain it :/
