Dogs is next-level awful, but most of the rest of it is not far behind. I've never been able to "get" this band which is too bad because I like Red House Painters. I think I'm done trying to like Sun Kil Moon albums

I usually don't care if my opinion doesn't align with other people's but I'm genuinely confounded at how this has received such high praise from people whose taste/judgement I generally trust. This is closer to a 1 than a 3, for me anyway.

It's just some dude singing in the same monotonous voice over dull and uninspired chord progressions,
not really my thing at all. Didnt bother with this past a couple of listens, it really did just seem
like a waste of my time. I'm with Aids here in that I don't understand the incredibly favourable
critical reception this has received, but I suppose I'll chalk it up as an album that I just don't
